TL;DR
Cyber Compliance Oversight Manager (Cybersecurity Compliance): Overseeing managed cybersecurity compliance services, control assessments, regulatory obligations, monitoring, readiness reviews, and executive reporting with an accent on control framework governance, regulatory alignment, and evidence quality. Focus on evaluating control effectiveness, validating remediation plans, managing MSP performance, and coordinating responses with Internal Audit.

Location: On-site at least four days per week in Maplewood, Minnesota, or Austin, Texas. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel. Relocation may be authorized. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Expected compensation: $164,612–$201,193, including base pay and variable incentive pay where applicable.

What you will do

  • Oversee the managed services provider delivering cybersecurity and technology compliance operations.
  • Review and approve obligations updates, control framework changes, assessment results, monitoring outcomes, and compliance reports.
  • Monitor service-level agreements, key performance indicators, delivery quality, scope, and timelines.
  • Coordinate risk-based control assessments, reviews of control design and operating effectiveness, and remediation validation.
  • Oversee compliance monitoring, readiness assessments, gap analyses, maturity evaluations, and required enhancements.
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit and leadership on evidence preparation, issue escalation, monthly metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in cyber compliance operations within a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, regulatory obligations, and common control frameworks.
  • Experience with compliance program management, regulatory change management, compliance monitoring, and control assessments.
  • Ability to analyze compliance results, communicate complex topics, manage concurrent activities, and collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, legal, risk, audit, and business stakeholders.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOX, PCI, CMMC, TISAX, SWIFT, or similar standards.
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification.
