TL;DR

Location: United States; onsite, hybrid/flex, or remote work options are available. U.S. citizenship is required, along with eligibility to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.

Salary: USD $192,540–$203,069 per year

What you will do

  • Develop architectural solutions for multi-function processor systems, storage systems, and stores management systems.
  • Support business pursuits and program execution for airborne systems.
  • Design and develop embedded hardware- and software-based solutions.
  • Translate customer needs and operational scenarios into product plans and technology roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership and secure stakeholder buy-in for concepts and ideas.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, FPGA, and cybersecurity specialists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related science, engineering, or mathematics field and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance are required.
  • Experience designing and developing embedded hardware- and software-based solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, influence-management, and technical leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of COTS modules, including SBCs, FPGAs, graphics, waveforms, and switches.
  • Knowledge of open-systems standards and interfaces such as SOSA, VPX, OMS, and avionics interfaces.

Nice to have

  • Experience working on multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • MBSE modeling experience or willingness to learn.
  • Success using customer operational insights to architect effective solutions.
