Manager, Strategy & Operations, CEO Office (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support the strategy for expanding into new APAC markets, including market sizing, prioritization, and defining the requirements for success.
• Evaluate licensing pathways, entity structures, commercial models, and the operating models required for each market.
• Work with Product and Engineering to translate regulatory and licensing requirements into product scope and roadmap sequencing.
• Prepare recommendations for executive leadership on market prioritization, launch readiness, and investment decisions.
• Build AI-assisted tools, templates, dashboards, and reporting workflows for research, license mapping, competitor analysis, and launch operations.
• Coordinate governance and go/no-go processes, including cross-functional sign-off, risk assessment, mitigation planning, and additional CEO Office initiatives.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, regulatory or financial services law, fintech or payments strategy, or expansion roles.
• Experience with market-entry or licensing-driven projects and complex multi-stakeholder programs.
• Strong operating discipline, including workstream structuring, governance cadences, dependency management, and executive-level updates.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools for regulatory research, license mapping, competitive analysis, documentation, or workflow automation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and engage senior leaders.
• High ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting APAC market launches or license applications for a fintech, payments provider, or financial institution.
• Knowledge of payments, e-money, banking, or card-issuing regulation and experience working with legal, risk, and compliance teams.
• Experience combining strategic problem-solving with in-house operating, legal, regulatory, commercial, or product-adjacent work.
• Experience in a CEO Office, strategy and operations team, or similar central team.
• Experience building lightweight AI tools for launch management, status reporting, risk tracking, and dependency management.
