Senior Associate, Fund Analysis (Real Estate)

What you will do

• Own and enhance the fund-level model, including performance forecasting, scenario analysis, portfolio construction, and performance attribution.
• Support acquisition and disposal underwriting, partnering with transaction teams across Europe to evaluate opportunities against fund objectives.
• Review asset-level business plans, budgets, actual performance, operational drivers, risks, and value creation opportunities.
• Contribute to investment committee papers, portfolio reviews, strategic presentations, and decision-ready investment recommendations.
• Assess the impact of debt structures, tax considerations, financing decisions, liquidity, and fund-level mechanics on performance and risk.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports and clearly explain the key drivers and underlying trends of fund performance.

Requirements

• Based in London or Munich and able to work at least four full days per week in the advertised office.
• Relevant experience in real estate investment, fund management, valuation, advisory, or a related field.
• Strong financial modelling, underwriting, cash flow forecasting, scenario analysis, and Excel skills.
• Understanding of real estate investment fundamentals, valuation drivers, portfolio strategy, and performance analysis.
• Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong academic record.
• Clear communication, commercial judgement, ownership, curiosity, and confidence challenging assumptions.

Nice to have

• Exposure to European real estate markets.
• Experience with Argus or Forbury.
• CFA, RICS, or CAIA qualification or progress toward one.
