Principal, Technical Program Manager (FinOps)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; home office

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000 in Bentonville or $143,000–$286,000 in Sunnyvale, plus potential performance bonuses and stock.

What you will do

• Lead complex, large-scale technical programs involving multiple interdependent projects.
• Define program scope, stage gates, critical paths, deliverables, and cross-functional commitments.
• Translate product requirements into scalable technical designs and high-availability solutions.
• Identify risks, create mitigation plans, and resolve issues throughout delivery.
• Improve workflows, processes, and automation to increase program efficiency.
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies while mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field plus 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Extensive experience in program and project management across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with risk management, stakeholder management, technical design, and workflow management.
• Ability to translate product requirements into scalable system architectures.
• Strong analytical, communication, consensus-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with operational excellence, monitoring, incident management, mentoring, and process improvement.

Nice to have

• Project management certification.
• Master’s degree in business administration with a relevant specialization.
• Experience in product design and digital accessibility, including WCAG 2.2 AA and assistive technologies.
