Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting (SaaS)

What you will do

• Own the Order-to-Cash function, including billing, collections, sales tax, MRR/ARR reporting, and revenue accounting.
• Co-lead the billing engine design and Chargebee-to-Stripe migration, including architecture, automation, scalability, and audit continuity.
• Own ASC 606 revenue recognition policy for consumption-based pricing, multi-year agreements, API usage, payments, and marketplace models.
• Partner with RevOps, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Deal Desk on CPQ, billing data, pricing governance, contract reviews, and non-standard deal structures.
• Lead the billing, collections, and reporting team while ensuring accurate revenue journal entries and operational reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors on revenue matters and advise the Controller and CFO on accounting judgments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in revenue accounting or revenue recognition within SaaS, API, payments, or marketplace businesses.
• CPA certification is required or strongly preferred.
• Hands-on ASC 606 experience with usage-based allocation, minimum guarantees, principal-versus-agent analysis, SSP allocation, contract modifications, and financing components.
• Strong familiarity with Stripe, Chargebee, Salesforce, and CPQ-to-billing integrations.
• Working knowledge of SQL, big data, and data warehouse concepts, including Snowflake or a similar platform.
• Experience coaching team members, operating autonomously in a lean finance organization, and representing revenue positions directly to auditors.
