Salary: $108,496.89–$149,183.22 per year

What you will do

  • Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems and components.
  • Perform complex analyses and simulations to validate and optimize designs.
  • Develop and oversee detailed test plans and procedures.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, reports, and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; an advanced relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related role.
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical design principles, CAD software, and computer-aided engineering tools.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for employment.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of GD&T according to ASME Y14.5 and model-based definition.
  • Aerospace and defense industry experience, including aircraft or space environmental requirements.
  • Experience with manufacturing, production, product support, and engineering non-conformances.
  • Familiarity with FAA, NASA, or DoD regulations and missile system development programs.
