Salary: $108,496.89–$149,183.22 per year

What you will do
- Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems and components.
- Perform complex analyses and simulations to validate and optimize designs.
- Develop and oversee detailed test plans and procedures.
- Review and approve technical documentation, reports, and design specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; an advanced relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related role.
- Advanced understanding of mechanical design principles, CAD software, and computer-aided engineering tools.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required for employment.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of GD&T according to ASME Y14.5 and model-based definition.
- Aerospace and defense industry experience, including aircraft or space environmental requirements.
- Experience with manufacturing, production, product support, and engineering non-conformances.
- Familiarity with FAA, NASA, or DoD regulations and missile system development programs.
