Lead Solution Architect (Workday)

Location: San Antonio, Texas; additional locations in Findlay, Ohio and Houston, Texas.

What you will do

• Design and lead enterprise-scale Workday solution architectures aligned with business goals and enterprise architecture.
• Define solution architecture standards, integration patterns, governance practices, and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Lead modernization initiatives and cross-functional solution delivery across HR technology and related platforms.
• Provide guidance on Workday configuration, security, integrations, reporting, performance optimization, and new releases.
• Create prototypes and proofs of concept, evaluate technologies, and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Mentor solution architects, system architects, DevSecOps teams, product teams, and implementation teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8 or more years of relevant IT experience, including 5 or more years of architecture experience.
• Deep knowledge of Workday Business Process Framework, security, BIRT and custom reporting, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
• Experience leading large-scale Workday implementations and integrations across the HR ecosystem.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, DevSecOps, big data analytics, AI, machine learning, IoT, and process orchestration.
• Workday Core HCM or related certifications are highly desirable.
