Senior Change Manager (Aviation)

What you will do

• Lead and administer project change management processes, procedures, workflows, and governance.
• Facilitate Change Control Board meetings and advise project leadership on change approvals and impacts.
• Evaluate scope, cost, schedule, financial, and risk impacts of proposed changes.
• Review contractor change requests, change orders, cost estimates, schedule impacts, and entitlement documentation.
• Maintain change logs, databases, dashboards, executive reporting, and audit-ready records.
• Support claims avoidance, dispute resolution, commercial negotiations, forecasting, earned value analysis, and project closeout.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of project controls experience on large capital infrastructure programs and at least 5 years managing project change management processes.
• Knowledge of change management, cost engineering, schedule analysis, risk management, forecasting, claims and dispute resolution, contract administration, and earned value management.
• Experience reviewing contractor change proposals, cost estimates, schedule impacts, and entitlement documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel; experience with PMWeb, Primavera P6, Procore, Unifier, or equivalent systems.
• Role location: Los Angeles, California, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting aviation, transportation, infrastructure, or large public-sector capital programs.
• PMP, CCM, PSP, CEP, EVP, or another relevant industry certification.
• Experience with aviation owners, airports, airlines, transit agencies, projects exceeding $250M, or alternative delivery methods such as CMAR and Design-Build.
