What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a single jewelry store and deliver sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and inventory-control results.
• Lead, coach, and develop assistant managers, jewelry consultants, sales support, and inventory-control staff.
• Drive exceptional customer experiences through training, outreach, communication, and issue resolution.
• Analyze reports, identify operational trends and root causes, and implement plans to improve performance.
• Maintain brand presentation, visual merchandising, store cleanliness, policy compliance, and effective merchandise and marketing execution.
• Work opening, closing, weekend, holiday, and extended shifts as required by store operations and peak selling periods.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of retail sales experience, or 2 years of retail sales experience plus at least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Advanced written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-management skills.
• Computer proficiency, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business and communication tools.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, delegate, work independently, meet deadlines, and explain detailed information.
• Ability to stand, move around display cases, handle merchandise, and lift or move up to 10 pounds; visual acuity is required to assess gemstone quality.
• Reliable attendance and availability for regular evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel to training sessions and business meetings.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of college.
• Specialty retail or jewelry experience.
• Diamond Council of America certification.
• Bilingual communication skills.
