What you will do

• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional data requirements with business, architecture, analytics, security, and engineering stakeholders.
• Design and implement scalable batch and near-real-time pipelines for ingesting, transforming, validating, and publishing structured and unstructured data.
• Build cloud-native Azure data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Spark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Develop lakehouse and data warehouse solutions using Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, dimensional models, normalized models, and Data Vault techniques.
• Create reusable metadata-driven frameworks, parameterized pipelines, data-quality practices, and automated unit, integration, regression, and validation tests.
• Implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices for repeatable deployments across development, testing, and production environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade Azure data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of ETL and ELT, distributed processing, orchestration, incremental loading, change data capture, schema evolution, and performance tuning.
• Experience with relational, dimensional, and lakehouse modeling, including star schemas and conformed dimensions.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Snowflake, or equivalent relational, analytical, columnar, and NoSQL technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git-based development, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or equivalent tools.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including estimation, design reviews, code reviews, release planning, and production support.
