Head of General Partner (GP) Reporting & Fund Data Governance (Private Equity)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

hirify.global is an asset management firm seeking leadership for its private equity finance reporting and data governance operations.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and evaluate managers and senior individual contributors across GP reporting and fund data operations.
• Oversee carry and performance fee plan administration, including grants, vesting, forfeitures, participant records, and leaver/joiner adjustments.
• Provide senior oversight of carry distributions, capital activity, GP investment valuations, fund launches, monthly close processes, and financial reporting.
• Direct PE data reconciliation, daily break resolution, and third-party reconciliation reviews.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Legal, Technology, fund administrators, and business stakeholders on operating models and process improvements.
• Design and implement control frameworks and scalable systems for carry reporting, data governance, and reconciliation.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in financial services or asset management, including private equity finance, carry plans, and data or reconciliation operations.
• Experience managing teams of managers and senior individual contributors.
• Deep knowledge of private equity fund structures, capital calls, distributions, carry mechanics, and GP financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial data systems, controls frameworks, reconciliation processes, advanced Excel, stakeholder management, and project management.
