Decision Analytics Consultant- CMC

Location: New York, New York; Princeton, New Jersey; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; or Chicago, Illinois, United States. Hybrid working model with work-from-home and on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices. Client-facing travel is required as needed.

Salary: $160,000–$177,000 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver decision analytics projects in pharmaceutical Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) development.
• Act as a subject matter expert on drug substance and drug product manufacturing in client discussions.
• Derive insights from data to answer clients’ business analytics and reporting questions.
• Identify appropriate data sources, evaluate CMC information, and communicate actionable results to clients.
• Manage teams, multiple workstreams, and project delivery.
• Contribute to the development of the Supply Chain and Manufacturing practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, and often a graduate degree, in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical CMC organization.
• Hands-on experience in at least one CMC development function, such as Process Chemistry, Process Engineering, Formulation, or Analytical Chemistry.
• Knowledge of unit operations, process development, Quality by Design, tech transfer, process validation, quality attributes, and pharmaceutical regulatory milestones.
• Understanding of ELN, LIMS, ERP, LCM, or PLM systems and CMC regulatory submission requirements.
• Experience with data analytics, executive presentations, and leading multiple workstreams.

Nice to have

• Experience with at least one tech transfer.
• Exposure to analytics, AI, or technology implementation in CMC.
