Software Engineer, Back-End (Ruby on Rails)

Location: Remote within listed United States states or Ontario, Canada; Central or Eastern time zones (CST and EST) strongly preferred. Applicants must be able to live and work full-time in an approved location.

Salary: $110K–$127K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby on Rails code.
• Deliver stories, tasks, and complete product features.
• Pair program and collaborate with engineering and cross-functional partners.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly retrospectives.
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical support.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience shipping small to medium-sized software projects.
• Proficiency in Ruby, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Fast-learning mindset and willingness to continue developing technical skills.
• Must be able to live and work full-time in an approved US state or Ontario, Canada.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available.
