Staff Integrations Specialist (B2B eProcurement)

Location: USA - South San Francisco, California; customer-site travel may be required for complex onboarding and mission-critical integration support.

Salary: $162,000–$209,000 USD annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead customer-facing API integrations and B2B eProcurement punchout implementations from intake through go-live.
• Define integration process architecture, standard operating procedures, design patterns, scalability blueprints, and troubleshooting frameworks.
• Resolve complex authentication, custom data-mapping, error-handling, monitoring, and implementation challenges.
• Shape the API and Punchout product roadmap with Product and IBT leadership.
• Translate scientific and business requirements from enterprise IT, procurement, and scientific teams into API and data-mapping specifications.
• Coordinate customer procurement teams, middleware providers, and internal stakeholders while maintaining technical documentation and integration playbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis, technical integrations, solution architecture, or technical delivery.
• Lead- or staff-level experience influencing cross-functional teams as a technical authority.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, web services, authentication methods, B2B eProcurement platforms, and customer-specific requirements mapping.
• Experience with Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba, Oracle/PeopleSoft, and formats including cXML, OCI, EDI, JSON, and XML.
• Strong communication, ownership, customer empathy, and problem-solving skills across complex parallel implementations.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Technical Product Manager, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Experience working with enterprise Sales or Customer Success teams.
• Experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms and Salesforce.com or SAP ERP/CRM.
