Compliance Officer (Healthcare AI)

Location: In person in New York; full-time roles are based in the SoHo office.

What you will do

• Own an OIG-aligned healthcare compliance program supporting operations and client and partner trust.
• Oversee privacy and HIPAA compliance programs, including policies, workforce training, minimum-necessary practices, and technical controls with Security.
• Operationalize compliance requirements through policy, training, monitoring, remediation, and day-to-day business guidance.
• Lead compliance incident response, including investigations, risk and breach assessments, remediation, and trend analysis.
• Partner with Legal, Security, Clinical, and Engineering on enterprise risk assessments, audits, and certification processes.
• Co-own AI and data-use governance, including risk assessment, human oversight, testing, monitoring, incident response, vendor diligence, and leadership reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of compliance, privacy, legal, or regulatory experience with hands-on ownership of a compliance program.
• Ideally, 5+ years of healthcare compliance experience covering HIPAA/HITECH, fraud and abuse, investigations, monitoring, policies, and corrective action.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into actionable guidance.
• Ability to turn ambiguous questions into clear, structured answers with minimal guidance.
• Track record of moving quickly, finding practical solutions, and delivering on demanding goals.
• Must work in person in New York.
