Senior Mobile Engineer (AI)

Location: Seattle HQ, hybrid

Base pay: $190,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own major feature areas across iOS and Android from technical design through implementation, testing, rollout, and iteration.
• Build real-time audio capture and processing using AVFoundation and Android audio frameworks.
• Develop AI-powered mobile interactions, including chat experiences for exploring and acting on meeting reports and insights.
• Optimize performance, reliability, battery usage, latency, security, privacy, and offline-first synchronization.
• Partner with product, design, and ML teams to prototype and ship conversational AI experiences.
• Establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, participate in hiring, and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Production mobile development experience with iOS and/or Android using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience owning complex features end-to-end and working with mobile architecture patterns and state management.
• Experience with real-time audio capture and processing using AVFoundation and/or Android audio APIs.
• Experience with background execution, offline storage, data synchronization, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and event-driven backends.
• Strong product judgment, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time audio processing or speech-to-text applications.
• Backend development with Python, FastAPI, or Node.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience in a startup or fast-growing environment.
