Mortgage Non-QM Underwriter

hirify.global is a U.S. wholesale mortgage lender offering conventional, FHA, VA, non-QM, renovation, and USDA loan products.

What you will do

• Review and underwrite Non-QM loans, including Bank Statement, 1099, DSCR, Full Doc, and self-employed borrower profiles.
• Analyze personal and business tax returns, bank statements, credit, income, and collateral.
• Determine loan eligibility and issue clear underwriting decisions with required conditions.
• Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to clarify documentation and underwriting guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• Recent Non-QM and wholesale underwriting experience.
• Knowledge of Non-QM, Jumbo, and residential loan products.
• Strong understanding of income analysis, compliance regulations, and appraisal review.
• High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
• Strong communication, decision-making, organizational, and technology skills.

• Experience with Encompass LOS and AUS systems.
