2027 Everest Actuarial Internship Program (Property and Casualty Reinsurance)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote in Warren, New Jersey; Miami, Florida; or New York, New York. Permanent US employment authorization is required.

Salary: $900–$1,000 per week.

What you will do

• Support pricing actuaries with individual account submissions and business opportunities.
• Perform actuarial pricing analyses for insurance and reinsurance transactions supporting underwriting operations.
• Work with team leaders, analysts, and peers on data manipulation and analytics across multiple lines of business.
• Research industry data sources and contribute to related projects.
• Participate in professional development workshops, networking events, and preparation for the Rotational Development Program.

Requirements

• Be a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university, preferably in Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, pattern recognition, and problem-solving skills.
• Have knowledge of, or aptitude to learn, VBA, R, and SQL.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Be able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Permanent US employment authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• At least one passed actuarial exam.
