Early Career Intern - Corporate Functions Data Office (Data Governance)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Support data governance initiatives across Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Risk.
• Maintain inventories of critical data elements, data owners, data stewards, and key business processes.
• Analyze datasets for completeness, consistency, and accuracy issues, and support data quality issue tracking.
• Document data definitions, business rules, lineage, and usage for key Corporate Functions data.
• Create or update dashboards, trackers, reports, presentations, and visual materials that communicate governance progress and insights.
• Research data governance, data management, AI readiness, and regulatory practices while supporting cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and graduating by summer 2028.
• Interest in data, analytics, data governance, or process improvement.
• Relevant fields include Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with or interest in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Employment-based immigration sponsorship, OPT, and CPT support are not available.
