OCI Cloud Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise OCI landing zones, compartments, tenancy structures, and networking architectures.
• Build infrastructure as code with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager using version control, peer review, and automated validation.
• Operate OCI compute, storage, Kubernetes, and database services for Oracle and non-Oracle workloads.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and observability integrations for infrastructure and applications.
• Design disaster recovery, business continuity, security, IAM, and compliance solutions across OCI regions and availability domains.
• Optimize cloud costs, advise application teams on OCI-native patterns, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of cloud engineering experience, including strong hands-on OCI experience; 6+ years are specified for the position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Production experience with Terraform and OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Python, and Bash.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, compliance, observability, incident response, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.
