Research and Development Intern - Analytical Method Development (Biotechnology)

Location: On-site in Fargo, North Dakota, United States

Salary: $35.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on education level.

What you will do

• Collaborate with scientists and engineers on research and development activities.
• Assist with analytical testing, method development, and data analysis.
• Support technology development and characterization studies.
• Contribute to assay optimization, sample preparation, and analytical characterization.
• Participate in scientific problem solving and technical reporting.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Laboratory experience through coursework, undergraduate or graduate research, or internships.
• Working knowledge of statistical methods and design of experiments.
• Basic knowledge of good laboratory practices and scientific methods.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to analytical testing, assay development, scientific instrumentation, laboratory techniques, or scientific data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
