Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time) | Primary Care & Occupational Health

Location: Providence, Rhode Island, United States; in-person and virtual care through the Healthy for Life Clinic.

What you will do

• Provide preventive, wellness-focused, acute, and chronic primary care.
• Diagnose conditions, develop personalized care plans, prescribe medications, and order and review diagnostic testing.
• Perform DOT physicals, work-related injury evaluations, return-to-work assessments, and regulatory medical examinations.
• Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and lifestyle management.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other clinic team members.
• Support a consistent employee population through relationship-centered care.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Rhode Island FNP license required.
• Current FNP board certification and active DEA registration.
• Current NRCME certification required.
• Previous occupational health experience required, including DOT physicals, occupational injury management, and return-to-work evaluations.
• Experience treating patients aged 2 and older; 2+ years of primary care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and hirify.global and client credentialing requirements.
