Location: Bryan or Crockett, Texas, United States. Part-time PRN clinic schedule, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; days vary according to clinic needs and candidate availability.

What you will do
- Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnose acute, chronic, and urgent primary care conditions.
- Formulate therapeutic plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, manage medications, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Provide primary care procedures, immunizations, screenings, preventive counseling, and patient and family education.
- Coordinate patient care with clinical staff, physicians, consultants, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assess and stabilize emergent conditions, determine patient disposition, document encounters, and provide follow-up care.
- Support evidence-based practice, precept nursing students, participate in quality improvement, reporting, seminars, committees, and staff development.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent education and experience.
- At least one year of directly related Family Nurse Practitioner experience and five years of clinical nursing experience.
- Active Texas Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Family Nurse Practitioner licenses with prescriptive authority are required.
- National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner is required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Experience with electronic health records, web-based applications, electronic medical records, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, confidentiality, and standard nursing procedure skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in health professions education.
- Additional familiarity with electronic health records, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
