Direct Materials Purchasing PMO (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Establish and lead the Purchasing Project Management Office, including governance, standards, reporting, tools, templates, and performance metrics.
• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of supplier and purchasing projects based on supply risk, supplier criticality, and business objectives.
• Coordinate component readiness activities covering capacity planning, supplier changes, dual sourcing, new product introduction, discontinuations, and supply-risk recovery.
• Monitor milestones, deliverables, critical paths, risk registers, and mitigation plans, escalating critical supplier and supply issues.
• Partner with Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and other functions.
• Develop dashboards and implement process improvements, digitalization, and automation for purchasing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Procurement, Materials Management, materials planning, master scheduling, inventory management, capacity management, or related areas.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Fluent English required.
• Knowledge and application of IT solutions for optimizing purchasing processes.
• Strong analytical reasoning, communication, interpersonal, and people leadership skills; willingness to work in a fast-paced and complex environment.

Nice to have

• MBA in a related field.
• Medical industry experience.
• CPIM, CSCP by APICS, or PMP certification.
