Intern Sustainability (Food Industry)

Location: Hybrid role preferably based in Hilversum, Netherlands; other EU locations may be considered. Full-time internship for 6–12 months.

What you will do

• Collect, process, and analyze sustainability data related to the Taste portfolio.
• Prepare sustainability documentation, presentations, customer materials, and internal communications.
• Support commercial teams and cross-functional stakeholders with customer sustainability requests.
• Maintain sustainability documentation and support reporting, project tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop training materials and conduct research on regulations, market trends, customer expectations, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Sustainability, Commercial, Regulatory, and Product Development teams on qualitative and quantitative environmental analyses.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Food Science, Business Sustainability, ESG, or a related field.
• Strong interest in sustainability within the food, ingredients, or consumer goods industry.
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• English proficiency required; comfortable working with international and cross-functional teams.
• Eligible to complete a full-time internship lasting 6–12 months.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, lifecycle assessment, or environmental metrics.
• Experience with data visualization or sustainability analysis tools.
• Curiosity, a proactive mindset, and an interest in positive environmental impact.
