Program Manager SME (Defense Acquisition)

Location: Beavercreek Township, Ohio; work environment in Dayton, Ohio. Full-time role with minimal travel of 0–20% and standard working hours.

What you will do

• Lead overall execution of a strategic client engagement supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.
• Manage project performance, profitability, staffing, resource allocation, and delivery quality.
• Support acquisition strategies, security classification guidance, and acquisition management activities for a new ACAT II program.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with government leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate hirify.global business units and technical organizations to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor project personnel and foster accountability, collaboration, excellence, and customer focus.

Requirements

• Top Secret security clearance required.
• Master’s degree in business, engineering, or aerospace.
• 15+ years of experience in the Department of Defense acquisition community.
• Experience in a senior Government Acquisition Management position.
• Demonstrated ability to make data-informed decisions and develop plans based on customer needs.
• Strong communication, budgeting, finance, organizational, and leadership skills, with experience collaborating across functions.

Nice to have

• Five years of experience leading teams in the Department of Defense acquisition community.
