Program Manager – HV (Defense)

Location: Onsite at Hunt Valve Co, 1913 E State Street, Salem, Ohio, United States of America. The role requires working in an office and production environment and includes up to 10% domestic travel. Proof of US citizenship and an attestation of no dual citizenship are required to access potential NOFORN data.

What you will do

• Support customer service strategy and act as the customer voice within the Salem facility.
• Build relationships with procurement departments and coordinate customer engagement across Hunt Valve.
• Manage active contract updates, project schedules, engineering documentation, material availability, and project invoicing.
• Track customer inquiries and drive program issues to timely resolution.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, identify improvement opportunities, and develop corrective actions.
• Coordinate scheduling, manufacturing, operations, and other cross-functional teams to support schedule adherence and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in project management or operations management.
• Project planning, performance tracking, execution, problem-solving, negotiation, contracts, and finance skills.
• Strong customer relationship, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a solid grasp of information technology fundamentals.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in a science or business-related field is preferred.
• US citizenship with no dual citizenship is required for access to NOFORN data.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• PMP certification.
