Investment Analyst - Private Debt & Equity (Private Markets) (Private Credit and Equity): Analyzing and evaluating private equity, private credit, and privately placed debt investments while developing investment theses and financial models with an accent on detailed investment analysis, portfolio monitoring, and stakeholder relationships. Focus on writing investment memos, contributing to investment committee discussions, and assessing opportunities across a wide range of industries.

Capital manages approximately $65B in assets across private credit, equity co-investments, and investment-grade privately placed debt for Life Insurance Company.
What you will do
- Analyze and evaluate private equity and private credit investments across multiple industries.
- Develop investment theses and perform detailed financial analysis and modeling.
- Assist with investment memos and contribute to investment committee discussions.
- Build relationships with senior executives, legal counsel, investment bankers, private equity sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio performance and support ongoing investment oversight.
Requirements
- Four-year undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
- Knowledge of investments and economic factors affecting multiple industries.
- Proficiency in accounting and strong computer modeling skills.
- Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- 0–3 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, leveraged finance, or a related field.
