Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Fully onsite at 5210 74th Street W, Lakewood, Washington 98499

Salary: $20.00–$29.00 per hour, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Review invoices submitted by branches and departments through Chrome River.
• Transfer accounts payable invoices into the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable system.
• Process accounts payable check runs and post general ledger entries in PeopleSoft.
• Research and respond to accounts payable inquiries from branches and departments.
• Support the corporate accounting department and back up Accounts Payable III responsibilities.
• Maintain internal controls and comply with applicable bank policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of accounts payable experience or equivalent experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work fully onsite at the posted Lakewood, Washington location.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processing, financial data verification, and general ledger entries.
• Ability to follow bank policies, internal controls, compliance requirements, and required training.
