Clinical Pharmacy Manager

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Base pay: $102,000–$184,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Direct the development, maintenance, and oversight of clinical and operational pharmacy programs for Medicare and Medicaid.
• Manage CMS Stars, Medicaid quality withhold, operational, and reporting programs.
• Develop programs for prescribers and pharmacy networks, including disease management and clinical outcomes initiatives.
• Monitor pharmacy cost and utilization trends and develop pharmaceutical reimbursement methodologies.
• Oversee contracted pharmacy benefit managers and assess the effectiveness of government pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external healthcare providers to improve quality, health outcomes, and cost of care.

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Corporate pharmacy experience involving practice guidelines, formulary programs, pharmacoeconomics, or pharmacy quality improvement.
• Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles and drug information skills.
• Analytical, written, verbal communication, prioritization, and issue-resolution skills.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and relational database software.
• Ability to work at a workstation and perform computer entry for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Medication Therapy Management program experience or MTM/Pharmaceutical Care training.
• Experience developing and implementing system tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Medicare Star measures.
