Salary: $114,400.00–$141,756.53 per year.

What you will do
- Review, interpret, approve, prepare, compound, label, and dispense medications while checking indications, dosage, allergies, interactions, and therapeutic duplication.
- Provide pharmaceutical care, medication histories, medication reconciliation, drug information, and medication optimization consultations for patients and families.
- Coordinate clinical pharmacy activities, supervise support personnel, and provide operational coverage including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams regarding medication orders, discharge medication lists, treatment guidelines, protocols, and clinical pathways.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy-system records and order entry, including controlled-drug inventory, allergy information, clinical interventions, and charging data.
- Educate patients and healthcare professionals, precept students, interns, and residents, and participate in quality programs, medication-use evaluations, and research.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a pharmacist license.
- At least one year of related experience; direct patient-care clinical pharmacy experience is required through residency training or prior employment.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, clinical best practices, medication-use optimization, drug formularies, and electronic medical records.
- Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform frequent standing and walking, lift 5–10 pounds, and handle medication packaging and computer-based work with manual dexterity and visual accuracy.
Nice to have
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- Board certification.
- Four years of related clinical pharmacy experience.
- Experience with drug utilization review and analysis.
