Salary: $50,500 starting annual salary for first-year teachers with a bachelor’s degree

What you will do

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction for students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Differentiate curricula, provide accommodations and modifications, and deliver targeted interventions.
• Use formative assessment and student data to adjust instruction and monitor academic growth.
• Create structured, inclusive classrooms that support engagement, independence, self-advocacy, and positive behavior.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, school leaders, students, and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related content area.
• At least two years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• K–12 Cross Categorical/Mild Mod certification.
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs and using data to guide instruction and interventions.
• Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and advocacy skills.
• Commitment to improving outcomes for historically underserved students.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-performing, data-driven school environment.
• Experience with standards-aligned curricula and assessment systems.
• Leadership experience within a grade-level team, content team, or school initiative.
