Virtual Specialized Education Instructor (Special Education)

What you will do

• Provide legally compliant specially designed instruction and compensatory education services to K–12 students with active IEPs.
• Develop and deliver individualized, data-driven lesson plans for literacy, foundational math, executive functioning, organizational strategies, and functional or adaptive life skills.
• Create, manage, and monitor student IEPs, including case management responsibilities.
• Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and students to coordinate schedules and tailor instruction.
• Administer screenings, monitor progress, and complete formal outcomes assessments to guide instruction.

Requirements

• Active special education teaching license or certification.
• School-based experience delivering specially designed instruction in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and collaborating with IEP teams.
• Proficiency with virtual service delivery, meeting platforms, and instructional technology.
• Dedicated private workspace, secure high-speed internet, reliable computer, and webcam.
• Availability during typical school hours, approximately 7:30 AM–3:30 PM Monday–Friday; 37.5 hours of weekly availability is highly preferred.
