Associate Product Manager (AI)

Location: New York, NY, with a 3-2 hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday–Thursday and work from home Monday and Friday. Applicants must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Salary: $120,000 base salary plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own product initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through testing, release, and post-launch evaluation.
• Translate business needs and client feedback into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical documentation.
• Partner with engineering and data science to identify and deliver AI use cases involving semantic search, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, and Model Context Protocol integrations.
• Define and evaluate AI feature quality, including retrieval relevance, accuracy, hallucination risk, latency, cost, security, and user feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, data science, QA, operations, and client-facing teams while managing dependencies, risks, and multiple workstreams.
• Work with SQL, databases, data pipelines, APIs, and other data-delivery tools to improve data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and platform performance.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, data, financial services, software development, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience translating business needs or client feedback into requirements and documentation and supporting projects through launch.
• Working knowledge of SQL, with willingness to work with databases, data pipelines, and APIs.
• Familiarity with or interest in AI, machine learning, or generative AI concepts and AI feature evaluation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial real estate, CMBS, or structured finance.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, vector databases, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or Postman.
• Experience evaluating AI or machine learning models and datasets.
