External Communications Specialist (Advanced Electronics)

What you will do

• Manage and grow social media channels by creating engaging content.
• Develop and distribute press releases, media materials, and external communications through PR wire services.
• Support media relations by building relationships with targeted outlets and promoting company stories.
• Maintain accurate and consistent website and digital communications content.
• Track communications performance and provide insights to improve engagement and impact.
• Protect and promote the brand across communications channels and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, or social media.
• Experience distributing news releases through Business Wire, PR Newswire, or similar services.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, storytelling, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience creating press releases, articles, media advisories, executive communications, and social media content.
• Knowledge of AP Style and strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience managing global social media platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and WeChat.
• Experience with Canva or similar content creation tools.
• Experience with website content management and digital communications.
• Experience in corporate branding, reputation management, or employee advocacy programs.
• Experience in technology, manufacturing, industrial, or semiconductor environments.
