Corporate Communications Specialist (Fusion Energy)

Location: On-site in Seattle, WA; based at hirify.global's Everett, WA headquarters

Salary: $119,000–$155,000 annually

What you will do

• Plan and execute the weekly company newsletter and monthly town halls.
• Own the internal communications calendar and coordinate communications requests across teams, audiences, channels, and priorities.
• Draft and edit executive communications for different voices, audiences, and channels.
• Manage the external speaking engagement calendar, including opportunity research, submissions, deadlines, and speaker preparation.
• Partner with science, engineering, manufacturing, operations, policy, and People teams to develop accurate communications.
• Track employee feedback, engagement data, and media results to improve communications programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, including adapting content for executives, audiences, and communications channels.
• Experience managing recurring communications programs and complex projects with multiple contributors and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to build practical coordination systems.
• Sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information and recognizing when issues require escalation.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
