What you will do

• Grow and deepen relationships with existing and prospective small business clients, typically companies with up to $2 million in annual revenue.
• Recommend deposit, treasury, credit, consumer, and small business banking solutions.
• Generate new deposit and loan business through regular client calls, prospecting, business visits, and community outreach.
• Develop portfolio growth plans, review deposit profitability, and implement strategies to improve account performance.
• Coordinate with internal business partners, gather updated financial information, communicate lending decisions, and follow up on loan exceptions.
• Represent the bank at civic functions, educational seminars, and local professional or business events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 1–2 years of related banking experience, including selling financial products and services.
• Experience meeting sales goals, sourcing small business clients, and building client relationships.
• Basic knowledge of banking, retail and small business products, financial accounting, and financial analysis.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, independent working, and customer service skills; ability to travel when required.
