Director, Configuration Management & Technical Data Management (Nuclear)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; on-site presence required four days per week

Salary: $195,826–$261,101 per year; range specific to Washington State

What you will do

• Lead Natrium’s configuration-management and technical-data-management strategy across project configurations and the standard plant design.
• Own configuration-control processes, baselines, change-control records, structures, naming conventions, and technical-data lifecycle standards.
• Align CM/TDM deliverables with ASME NQA-1 Requirement III and support compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B.
• Integrate CM/TDM workflows across CMIS, EDMS, records systems, document control, and design-control processes.
• Partner with QA, Design Authority, Licensing, Project Engineering, EPCs, suppliers, and operations teams.
• Lead and develop the Configuration Management and Technical Data Management organization, including Senior Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in nuclear or highly regulated engineering environments.
• Deep knowledge of ASME NQA-1 Requirement III and Part II.
• Leadership experience in configuration management, technical data management, baselining, change control, metadata, numbering standards, and records architectures.
• Experience with EDMS, CMIS, PLM systems, audits, regulator reviews, and nuclear compliance assessments.
• Ability to work on site four days per week in Bellevue, Washington; the role is subject to applicable ANSI/ANS 3.1 qualification requirements and U.S. export-control review.

Nice to have

• Prior Director or Senior Manager experience in configuration management, technical data management, or nuclear QA.
• Experience with FOAK nuclear plant design or advanced reactor programs.
• Working knowledge of ASME Section III and software qualification under NQA-1.
• Experience integrating CM/TDM with project-management and multi-partner collaboration frameworks.
• Experience guiding EPCs, suppliers, or partners on CM/TDM deliverables and configuration-control expectations.
