hirify.global develops AI-powered humanoid robots, including Apollo, for manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, home, and other applications.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain system-level requirements, specifications, and architecture for the humanoid robot chassis.
  • Define interfaces across structural hardware, actuation, power, compute, controls, wiring, and thermal subsystems.
  • Perform trade studies covering structural performance, weight, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability.
  • Lead verification and validation activities, including load, fatigue, life, thermal, vibration, and shock testing.
  • Coordinate prototype builds, design reviews, DFM/DFA reviews, supplier qualification, and production readiness.
  • Drive structural health monitoring, diagnostics, root-cause failure analysis, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in complex robotics systems or autonomous systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
  • Experience designing and integrating structural, mechanical, and electrical systems for dynamic robotics applications.
  • Knowledge of structural mechanics, FEA, stress and fatigue analysis, materials, GD&T, DFM, and DFA.
  • Experience with actuator, gearbox, drivetrain, wiring harness, cable routing, EMI, thermal management, and electromechanical chassis integration.
  • Knowledge of robotics architecture, kinematics, dynamics, requirements traceability, reliability engineering, environmental sealing, and automated testing.
