Banking Services Operations Associate V - Commercial Lien Release Analyst (Commercial Banking)

What you will do

• Review and research complex collateral release requests for paid-in-full accounts.
• Verify authorization and ensure collateral supporting other loans is not released improperly.
• Process releases involving real estate, UCC assets, vehicles, deposits, investments, aircraft, ships, patents, and trademarks.
• Coordinate with business partners, attorneys, title companies, customers, third parties, and recording jurisdictions.
• Update tracking systems, remove account holds and exceptions, and manage insurance-tracking records.
• Provide guidance and training on difficult transactions and escalate risk-related issues when needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least 2 years of work experience, or at least 4 years of combined higher education and work experience including 2 years of work experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Notary Public certification or completion within 1 year of starting the role.
• Experience with collateral tracking systems, internal databases, FileNet, and county websites is relevant to the role.
• Must work in Buffalo, New York, United States of America.
