Mid-Level Full Stack Web Developer (React/TypeScript)

Location: South Tampa, Florida — hybrid, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote

Salary: $75,000–$156,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain mission-critical web application features using React, TypeScript, and a server-side language such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Design algorithms, analyze performance and functionality, and drive solutions to complex customer-driven problems.
• Write unit and integration tests and apply test-driven development practices.
• Support deployment pipelines and monitor production health through logs and alerts.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical discussions with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and prepare technical documentation.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional full-stack development experience, or 3+ years of strong personal or project experience; the broader role description cites 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain an active Secret clearance; an existing Secret clearance is preferred.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and a server-side language such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with Git and issue-tracking tools such as Jira or GitLab.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to learn technologies quickly, communicate across multidisciplinary teams, and manage competing tasks.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with Docker, docker-compose, or a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and OAuth-based authentication.
• Open-source contributions, hackathon projects, or a technical blog.
