Member of Product Staff, Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Identify customer problems and turn them into useful production software.
• Build AI agents that pursue recruiting objectives, request human judgment, and recover safely from model or tool failures.
• Develop interfaces that help recruiters understand, correct, and trust AI-generated actions.
• Build the interfaces, APIs, data models, permissions, and production behavior for new customer workflows.
• Own a bounded customer outcome from problem definition through rollout, adoption, reliability, and iteration.
• Make product and technical decisions while contributing consequential code and maintaining production quality.

Requirements

• Experience shipping software for external users and owning a meaningful outcome through production.
• Deep expertise in at least one technical area, with the ability to work across product, frontend, and backend boundaries.
• Strong ability to design, implement, review, and debug independently while using AI coding agents.
• Interest in direct customer contact, hands-on implementation, and responsibility after launch.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, AWS, Postgres, or S3 is useful but not required.
• Must work in person in San Francisco; this is not a remote role.
