What you will do
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, supporting career growth and technical excellence.
- Define the technical vision and roadmap for Alli’s AI-powered Actions, Data, or Insights solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven features that help brands make smarter marketing decisions.
- Partner with product managers, designers, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals.
- Guide clean code, automated testing, version control, scalable architecture, code reviews, debugging, and quality assurance.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic insights to client teams while tracking emerging AI and machine learning technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with object-oriented programming and scalable, maintainable solutions.
- 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring engineers, with the ability to balance hands-on development and leadership.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS or another cloud platform, including application deployment and management.
- Strong expertise in RESTful API design, system architecture, SOLID principles, SQL, and data manipulation.
- Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, Node, React, and Go, plus automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud-based deployments.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code tools, large-scale data processing, and client-facing technical consulting.
Nice to have
- Experience or familiarity with digital marketing and advertising technology.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
- Prior experience working with large language models.
- Familiarity with Terraform.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
