Software Delivery Manager (AI)

Location: Manchester, UK; hybrid with 2 days a week in the office

Salary: £65,000–£75,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead internal and third-party delivery teams developing and supporting strategic, mission-critical software products.
• Drive agile, lean, and scaled agile delivery practices, including PI planning and Scrum of Scrums.
• Manage delivery performance, risks, impediments, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Product Managers, Product Owners, business analysts, developers, test analysts, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure software delivery meets ISO9001, ISO27001, regulatory, security, and hirify.global requirements.
• Provide hands-on leadership during critical issues in the seasonal Summer exams series when required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering software in agile, lean, and scaled agile environments.
• Technical knowledge across diverse software technologies, processes, and platforms, including Azure integration services.
• Ability to lead groups through complex, ambiguous, and time-pressured technical and operational challenges.
• Significant experience delivering software in high-stakes and regulated environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, risk management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Curiosity and a passion for innovative technology solutions, including applying AI within the SDLC.
