Director, Financial Shared Services

hirify.global is a growing company operating across multiple entities and supporting complex financial operations, acquisitions, and systems implementations.

What you will do

• Lead a team of approximately 15 employees across Accounts Receivable/Billing, Accounts Payable, and Payroll, including 4–5 direct reports.
• Own the end-to-end performance of billing, AR, AP, and payroll, including KPIs, SLAs, operating budgets, controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Oversee invoicing, cash application, collections, vendor invoice processing, payment runs, travel and expense operations, and 1099 reporting.
• Lead multi-state and multi-entity payroll compliance, tax filings, garnishments, and complex payroll escalations.
• Lead the Finance component of the UKG implementation and serve as the Finance owner for UKG payroll functionality after go-live.
• Drive automation, month-end close support, audit requests, and integration of acquired entities into shared services.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial transaction roles.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, cost accounting standards, financial metrics, and working capital.
• Proven ability to scale a company and lead cross-functional teams through organizational change.
• Experience with government contracts and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead financial operations across multiple entities, states, jurisdictions, and acquired businesses.
