TL;DR
Manager, Payroll & Accounts Payable (Payroll/Finance): Managing end-to-end payroll and accounts payable operations with an accent on SOX controls, reconciliations, tax reporting, and financial systems. Focus on leading process improvements and system migrations, coordinating with Treasury and Finance, and developing the payroll and AP team.

What you will do
- Manage end-to-end payroll and accounts payable processes, including reconciliations, approvals, payments, vendor communications, and payroll quality checks.
- Execute and maintain internal controls supporting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and accurate financial operations.
- Lead process improvements, software implementations, system migrations, and integrations involving acquired companies.
- Oversee quarterly and year-end tax and W-2 balancing, payroll reporting, AP metrics, vendor statement reconciliation, and purchasing card activities.
- Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and FP&A on financial systems, reporting, wire transfers, and expense coding.
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members while ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to employees and vendors.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including management experience; accounts payable experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll and accounts payable principles, GAAP, internal controls, and SOX-compliant environments.
- Experience automating processes, documenting policies, leading system migrations, and improving operational efficiency.
- Advanced mathematical and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent organization.
- Strong communication, customer service, collaboration, and team leadership skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- College degree with a Finance or Accounting emphasis.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financial System, SAP Concur, Workday, and ADP.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
