Global Cybersecurity Compliance Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina, United States; hybrid work with some in-office and/or in-person expectations.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of six compliance, controls, and policy professionals.
• Set priorities, manage performance and development, plan capacity, support hiring, and oversee team budgets and operating rhythms.
• Lead control testing and compliance activities across ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, CIS benchmarks, and related requirements.
• Coordinate customer cybersecurity questionnaires, due diligence requests, internal and external audits, regulatory inquiries, and certification activities.
• Partner with business units, control owners, legal, security, and technical stakeholders to define, validate, test, and document controls and evidence.
• Identify and escalate control, policy, process, and remediation gaps while maintaining cybersecurity governance documentation and supporting artifacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.
• At least five years of GRC experience in a technology-related industry, or eight to ten years of experience in business process analysis, project methodology, or systems development life cycle.
• Experience leading compliance, controls, policy, audit, or risk-management teams in a global security, cybersecurity, technology, or regulated enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, DFARS/NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, DORA, risk events, control ownership, and executive-level risk communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence across disciplines, regions, cultures, and distributed teams.
• Ability to operate in a rapidly changing business, technical, regulatory, and organizational environment while maintaining accountability and delivery discipline.

Nice to have

• Information security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC.
• Experience managing senior individual contributors or specialized cybersecurity compliance professionals.
• Experience building team operating models, developing talent, conducting information security audits, or performing risk assessments.
• Knowledge of emerging regulatory requirements, AI governance, and evolving customer compliance expectations.
