TL;DR
Supplier Quality Engineering Co-op (Manufacturing) (supplier quality and marine manufacturing): Evaluating supplier performance and manufacturing processes for outboard and stern drive motors with an accent on PPAP requirements, supplier audits, and corrective action planning. Focus on mitigating manufacturing risks, identifying supplier technical capabilities, and driving continuous quality improvements.

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite. Relocation is available. Permanent US work authorization is required, and visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Salary: $19.00–$27.50 per hour

hirify.global is a global marine company, and Mercury Marine manufactures recreational marine propulsion engines, boats, services, and parts.

What you will do

  • Communicate Mercury PPAP requirements to assigned supplier groups.
  • Evaluate supplier performance through audits, sorting, and corrective action plans.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and systems to mitigate quality risks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement to identify suppliers and technical competency requirements for new products.
  • Drive continuous improvement using quality tools and techniques.
  • Manage supplier relationships for an assigned product commodity.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a B.S. program in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • At least second-semester sophomore standing with 48 completed credits.
  • Ability to work full time, 40 or more hours per week, for a co-op term from January to August 2026 or June to December 2026.
  • Ability to enroll in a formal co-op program through a college or university.
  • Permanent US work authorization required.
