Audit Manager-Commercial

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $92,000–$146,340 per year, with compensation influenced by experience, qualifications, certifications, work arrangements, and location.

What you will do

• Lead assurance and consulting engagements for commercial-sector clients.
• Build client relationships by understanding business goals, challenges, and operational needs.
• Design and implement testing to assess internal control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Manage audit fieldwork, engagement staffing, budgets, billings, collections, timelines, and profitability.
• Provide financial statement guidance, business recommendations, and insights based on audit analysis.
• Mentor and coach associates and seniors while supporting their technical and professional development.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• CPA certification.
• At least five years of professional experience.
• Strong technical audit and accounting foundation.
• Ability to lead audit engagements from planning through completion and manage engagement teams, budgets, timelines, and client relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Five or more years of public accounting experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience coaching and developing associates and seniors.
• Commercial client audit experience, including Industrial Commercial Products, telecommunications, or life sciences.
• SEC or public company audit experience.
• Experience working directly with controllers, CFOs, and senior client executives.
• Strong software and Microsoft Suite skills.
